FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Delays on passage of the farm bill by the U.S. Senate is threatening food aid in Larimer County as Thanksgiving and Christmas Approach.

The Coloradoan says Amy Pezzani, executive director of Larimer County’s Food Bank, said Saturday that it will struggle to keep aid flowing to low income families but it will be difficult to meet all needs.

Republicans are filibustering the bill, accusing Democrats of shutting down debate and refusing any compromises.

The House has already passed a bill that expands food aid.
