Because of a reporting error, a review of “No Country for Old Men” on Page 1F of Friday’s Entertainment section incorrectly stated that a character in the film “The Night of the Hunter” was played by Kirk Douglas. The actor was Robert Mitchum.
Because of inaccurate information provided by two sources, a story on Page 1F Thursday said there is not a “universal” scanner for pet-identification microchips. In fact, two companies, ResQ and HomeAgain, have provided 60,000 universal chip scanners to animal shelters, animal-control agencies and veterinary hospitals in the United States.
