Denver’s school board on Monday approved the application for a charter high school that will focus on entrepreneurship and authorized the expansion of the Denver School of Science and Technology.
Denver Venture School, which is expected to open in August, will offer a project-based learning environment in which students will start and run a real business. The school will begin with a ninth-grade class and will have 450 students at full build-out.
