AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—Eric Ehn, Brent Olson and Josh Frider each scored to give Air Force a 3-1 win over Holy Cross Friday night.

Ehn made his fourth goal of the season at 8:04 in the first period with an assist from Olson. The same two players combined for Air Force’s second goal at 14:38. Ehn made a no-look pass from the boards in the neutral zone to Olson, who made a wrister from the top of the right circle.

Neither team scored in the second period. Air Force (7-4-0, 5-4-0 Atlantic Hockey Association) jumped ahead when Frider made an empty-net slap shot with 1:43 left in the third.

Holy Cross (4-4-1, 3-3-1) got on the board first when Frank O’Grady made a pass down low to Ryan Driscoll, who sent the puck through the crease. The puck was tipped into the air and Brodie Sheahan batted it out of the air for his fifth goal of the season.

Adam Roy made 30 saves for the Crusaders. Andrew Volkening made 16 for Air Force.
