There is a chance Andre Hall will make his first NFL start Sunday at Chicago.
Today after practice Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said rookie Selvin Young (right knee strain), who didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday, worked on a limited basis today. Shanahan said Young will be a game-time decision.
If Young can’t play, Hall would start and Mike Bell likely would back up Hall. Hall’s NFL highlight came Monday night against Tennessee when he broke a 62-yard run while spelling Young.
Shanahan said running back Travis Henry (partially torn PCL) will not play Sunday. It will be the third straight game Henry will miss. Shanahan said he believes Henry will be able to play Dec. 2 at Oakland. The NFL is expected to make a decision on Henry’s appeal of a pending one-year NFL drug suspension as early next week.
Also, receiver Javon Walker is questionable after practicing on a limited basis today after he had some swelling on the knee Thursday. He is still expected to play after missing the past seven games.
