AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—Adam Roy had five saves in overtime to help Holy Cross escape with a 5-5 tie with Air Force on Saturday night.

Holy Cross led 5-4 after two periods, but Josh Frider scored a power-play goal at 6:08 of the third period to tie it for Air Force (7-4-1, 5-4-1 Atlantic Hockey Association).

Holy Cross (4-4-2, 3-3-2) had just 12 shots the whole game, while Air Force had 37. Holy Cross was 1-for-3 on power-play chances, while Air Force was 3-for-6.

Andrew Volkening made six saves for the Falcons, and Ian Harper had one.

Holy Cross goaltender Ian Dams stopped seven shots and gave up three goals before he was replaced by Roy, who finished with 25 saves.

Everett Sheen had a hat trick for Holy Cross.

Air Force defeated Holy Cross 3-1 Friday night.
