CLEAR CREEK COUNTY — Authorities on Saturday identified a man who was fatally injured when his car hit a tree as Darrell Rice, 22 of Empire.
Rice was driving a Toyota Celica on U.S. 40 west of Empire on Friday when he struck a tree about 10:30 a.m. He was the only person in the car.
