Chicago-based PlanetSpace announced that it has partnered with Lockheed Martin Space Systems, which is based in Jefferson County, to submit a proposal for NASA’s Commercial Orbital Transportation Services phase 1 demonstrations. The team also includes aerospace firm ATK. Lockheed Martin is developing Orbital Transfer Vehicles for PlanetSpace.
