Are you buying?
The playoffs start in two weeks, three weeks if your league is crazy, and you’ve got to figure out who you’re going to win with. Stand by your man?
Did Frank Gore finally emerge Sunday with his 21 carries, 116 yards and two touchdowns? Remember, that’s the first time the 49ers running back has broken the 100-yard mark this season, so don’t go planning the route of your office victory parade just yet.
Is Chiefs backup running back Kolby Smith for real? With Priest Holmes retired and Larry Johnson a weekly question mark, Smith could finish the season as the No. 1. Remember, that offensive line is bad and it took a great back such as L.J. to get decent yards. And no, you can’t play the Raiders every week.
Philip Rivers? He’s got 558 yards passing, four touchdowns and one interception in his past two starts. Just wait, however, until Chargers coach Norv Turner finds out he has LaDainian Tomlinson on the same team.
Andre Hall? Face it, picking up a Broncos running back is like dabbling in real estate.
So who’s buying?
