Getting your player ready...

Defensive end Jarvis Moss has begun his rehabilitation program, and the 2007 first-round draft pick has no doubts he will be able to get an early start on having a better second season with the Broncos.

“I don’t know if this is going faster than expected, but it’s going very well,” Moss said. “We have a good timetable on this and I will be ready to go early in (2008). I will be full-go way before the offseason program starts.”

Moss suffered a fractured right fibula and tore some tendons near the ankle during a practice drill Nov. 1. He had surgery the next week and has about two to three months to go in his rehabilitation.

Moss said he is getting muscle back to his ankle and is doing some light rehab work. The former Florida star, who still is on crutches, had 12 tackles and one sack in six games this season.

“I have no doubts I’ll get back. I’m working hard every day to get back on the field next season,” Moss said. “I’m really looking forward to that.”
