After skipping Denver and other markets on the first leg of their comeback tour, Van Halen announced today it will play a second U.S. leg stretching from January-April of 2008, including a Feb. 1 date at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
The current tour already has drawn more than 600,000 fans to see that band that ruled the FM rock airwaves throughout the mid-to-late-’80s. The band’s current line-up includes brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen, Eddie’s son Wolfgang Van Halen, and singer David Lee Roth – together for the first time in nearly 25 years.
There is no information on when tickets will go on sale, but they tickets will be available through once they become available, according to the release from promoter Live Nation.
The Denver show is followed by an Omaha gig at the Quest Event Center three nights later on Feb. 4 — which allows time for the band to add another Pepsi Center date should the first one sell out.
