DENVER—The Denver coroner has identified a 10-year-old girl who was shot to death as Auralia Cisneros.
Police say Auralia was caught in the crossfire of a gunbattle in a northwest Denver apartment on Monday. Officers say the fight may have been prompted by a dispute over gangs or drugs.
The coroner says Auralia died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Police are searching for a suspect who fled the scene. No one has been arrested.
