Eleven people were transported to area hospitals Wednesday after an accident at a business office at 345 Inverness Drive South in the Denver Tech Center.
Becky O’Guin, spokeswoman for the Parker Fire Department, said that the incident, reported at 12:41 p.m., occurred when a two-part epoxy was being mixed.
The epoxy began to give off heat, she said, and someone applied water to it, producing “potentially dangerous” vapors.
The two-story building was evacuated, but workers were allowed to return by 1:45 p.m.
