This year He’brew Beer — “The Chosen Beer” — celebrates its 11th anniversary by turning things up to 11 with Jewbelation Eleven, a flavorful mix of 11 malts and hops that conspire to create a tasty — and kosher — brew.

This dark, cola-colored beer pours out with a thin head and pleasant aroma that hints at the chocolate and oatmeal flavors it delivers upon the first sip. All of those hops and malts balance quite nicely for an overall slightly nutty flavor that never feels forced or overwhelming. It finishes with a solid bitterness that leaves you thirsting for the next sip.

A word of warning: Jewbelation Eleven weighs in at a hefty 11 percent alcohol by volume, making this very drinkable ale a sipper.

$4.99 per 22-ounce bottle, limited release available in Colorado and throughout the U.S.
