ATHENS, Greece — Police have arrested a 47-year-old man accused of using a sword to sever the hand of his 15-year-old daughter’s teenage boyfriend.
The alleged attacker was arrested on the Aegean Sea island of Naxos on Saturday and was to appear before a public prosecutor today to face charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
The 18-year-old victim was initially hospitalized on the island but later flown to Athens, where surgeons were trying to reattach his right hand Monday.
