DENVER—The Colorado Avalanche activated forward Ian Laperriere from the injured reserve list and said he would be available for Wednesday night’s game at Columbus.
Laperriere missed nine games because of a knee injury he suffered on Nov. 11. He has two goals, four assists and 31 penalty minutes in 17 games this season.
The Avalanche reassigned forward Wyatt Smith to Lake Erie of the AHL.
