COLUMBIA, S.C. — The 18,000-seat Colonial Center is just too small to hold an Oprah event. Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign announced Wednesday that Sunday’s rally featuring talk-show host Oprah Winfrey and Obama will move to the 80,000- seat Williams-Brice Stadium.
“People are literally camping at the (Obama headquarters) door to try to get tickets,” Inez Tenenbaum, an Obama volunteer, said Wednesday.
