Centennial Airport-based Adam Aircraft announced it has received its first type inspection authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration for its A700 very light jet, which it said is a major milestone toward certification of the seven-seat A700 next year.
The authorization allows FAA representatives to begin flight testing on the A700 for FAA certification credit, according to Adam Aircraft. The company said it will begin environmental testing for the A700 next week at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
