GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Another snowstorm is on the way.
Forecasters say one to two feet of new snow could fall in the San Juan and La Garita mountains by the time the storm moves out late Tuesday. Light snow already was falling in Durango late Monday.
The National Weather Service says 5 to 10 inches of snow is expected by Tuesday afternoon in other parts of western Colorado, including Craig and Gunnison.
Drivers are being urged to watch out for icy roads.
Three to 6 inches of snow was expected by Tuesday night in the Denver area, while up to 8 inches was expected in higher elevations including Estes Park.
