Police have arrested a third man they believe may have been involved in the shooting death of a 10-year-old girl two weeks ago.
Juvencio Hernandez, 19, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree murder in the death of Auralia Cisneros on Nov. 26.
Two other men, Trivi Trujillo and Joshua Rojas, also have been arrested in the shooting. Police say both men have ties to area gangs.
According to police, Auralia was shot in the head around 10:20 p.m., when several gunmen knocked on the door of her family’s apartment at 4711 W. Tennessee Ave.
Police said Auralia’s father, Leo “Mickey” Cisneros, got into a gunfight with the men, who fled after the girl was shot.
