The Denver area should get a break from snow today, but snowfall could return tomorrow night as a Pacific front brings cold, moist air.

Denver’s high temperature will climb to about 37 degrees today under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a chance of snow showers in the mountains today, the weather service reports.

Tonight, Denver skies will be partly cloudy, and the low temperature will drop to about 14 degrees, the weather service said.

Tomorrow, skies in Denver will be partly sunny with a high temperature near the freezing mark.

Thursday afternoon brings a chance of snow to the mountains that should spread eastward into Denver on Thursday night and then on to the Eastern Plains.

Denver has a 40 percent chance of snow on Friday, but the system should clear out quickly. Forecasters do not expect a heavy amount of snow for Denver from the approaching storm.

The weekend Denver forecast calls for mostly sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures in the mid- to upper-30s.
