Denver International Airport was the fourth-busiest airport in the nation in September, according to data released Thursday.
That’s on par with DIA’s ranking in September 2006, the data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics showed.
For the nine months through September, DIA was also the fourth-busiest airport in the nation, up from No. 5 in the same period last year.
Total U.S. passenger traffic was up 3.6 percent for the first nine months of the year compared, on track to set a record for 2007.
