Someone won a $1 million Lottery jackpot after buying a ticket at the Black Forest Liquor Store in Black Forest, officials say.
The store, in El Paso County outside Colorado Springs, will receive $3,000 for selling the Powerball ticket, which was purchased Wednesday. The name of the winner has not been released.
The winner bought a ticket that matched five numbers in the drawing to win $200,000 and also paid an extra dollar for the Power Play, which multiplies the amount of winnings when the Power Play wheel is spun. The wheel landed on 5.
