Xcel Energy natural-gas customers in Colorado will see a 5 percent increase in their January 2008 bills compared with January 2007 because of higher natural-gas prices, the utility said Friday. The typical January 2008 residential customer bill will be $111.22, or $5.58 higher than the same month a year ago, if regulators approve the company’s price filing.
