DENVER—The Colorado Avalanche have placed center Tyler Arnason on injured reserve with a wrist injury and have recalled forward Cody McLeod from the team’s AHL affiliate the Lake Erie Monsters.
The team said Sunday that Arnason’s injury would sideline him about four weeks.
McLeod, 23, has six goals, seven assists and 101 penalty minutes in 27 games this season with Lake Erie. He signed with the Avalanche as a free agent last year.
