Arvada firefighters rescued a woman after she fell through the ice into a pond Wednesday morning. Two people were on the ice trying to pull the 21-year-old woman out of the pond when fire crews arrived at Prospect Park in Wheat Ridge about 11:30 a.m., according to a news release. The woman was taken to Lutheran Medical Center to be treated for hypothermia.
