The Ski Train will start its 68th season with holiday-week trips from Denver to Winter Park on Thursday, running through Dec. 30. The Ski Train will begin its regularly scheduled Saturday and Sunday weekend trips Jan. 5 and 6. It will add Friday trips Feb. 1; it also will offer Thursday trips beginning March 1. The final trip of the season will be March 30. Once at Winter Park Resort, passengers can ride a free shuttle service into the town of Winter Park. Fares for the 2007-08 season are: coach, $44 to $49 for groups of 12 or more; youth (ages 3-12) and seniors (62 and older) $44; club car, which includes continental breakfast buffet and afternoon snacks, $74. The train departs Union Station at 7:15 a.m. and leaves Winter Park Resort at 4:15 p.m. The 56-mile trip takes about 2 1/2 hours each way. Information at or 303-296-4754.
