Even if it doesn’t appear Daniel Graham and Ian Gold will play Monday night, Broncos coach Mike Shanahan isn’t definitively counting out his two starters.
Graham, a tight end, and Gold, an outside linebacker, missed their third consecutive practice Friday. Graham suffered a high ankle sprain and Gold a sprained knee early in last Thursday’s game at Houston.
Both will try to practice Saturday.
“‘It gives them a little more recovery time and we’ll see how they do,” Shanahan said.

Broncos receiver Brandon Stokley was again limited in practice because of a knee injury that sidelined him against the Texans. … The Broncos had both Mike Bell and Andre Hall wearing No. 21 scout-team jerseys this week. In physique, Bell is a little closer to San Diego’s No. 21, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Hall is closer to Tomlinson’s backup, Darren Sproles. … A strong, cold wind led the Broncos to practice Friday at their indoor facility down the street.
