DENVER—A winter storm moving across Colorado is forecast to bring snow and strong winds to the Front Range and plains.

Forecasters are also warning drivers to expect reduced visibility at times because of blowing snow.

The National Weather Service says snow should continue to fall through this evening in western Colorado and into the overnight in eastern Colorado.

Between 2 to 5 inches are expected in the Denver area, with the heaviest accumulations south of the city.

The storm is more good news for ski resorts as they get ready for Christmas visitors.

The Steamboat Springs ski resort reports 9 inches of snow in the last 24 hours and Vail and Beaver Creek have 4 new inches of snow.
