JetBlue Airways Corp. said one of its early Sunday flights from San Francisco to New York was diverted to Denver because of a disruptive passenger.
JetBlue spokeswoman Alison Eshelman said she didn’t have details on what the passenger did but said the flight’s captain landed in Denver as a precaution.
Police spokesman John White also lacked details on the passenger’s actions but said the man was taken to a hospital for a mental-health evaluation. White said no charges were pending.
The plane continued to New York after the man was taken off the aircraft. The flight arrived almost six hours late. Eshelman said the 150 customers onboard received one-way trip vouchers for their trouble.
