DENVER—Denver Nuggets assistant Doug Moe said he hopes to be released from the hospital Tuesday as he recovers from a case of pancreatitis, a newspaper reported.
Moe, 69, was admitted to Rose Medical Center on Thursday, the Rocky Mountain News reported. He had complained of severe back pain brought on by a fall on some ice while getting off the team plane Dec. 16.
“I’m feeling pretty good now,” he told the newspaper Sunday. “I was in awful shape two days ago.”
