A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest and a 26-year-old man was seriously injured after the two were shot in Colorado Springs last night, authorities say.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office announced this afternoon that Josh Sommervold died from a single shot to the chest.
Adrian Works was hit by several bullets and hospitalized, said Lt. Mark Smith of the Colorado Springs Police Department.
No arrests have been made in the shootings that happened just after 8 p.m. on the 2500 block of East Vrain St.
Several people were inside the home when a fight broke out, he said.
Police continue to investigate the case and are attempting to identify everyone who was in the home at the time, he said.
