A 37-year-old man was sent to prison for more than 100 years today for shooting four people outside a Lodo nightclub two years ago. One of the four died eight months later.

Michael Rollie was sentenced to 48 years in prison for killing the one patron. Denver District Court Judge John Madden also sentenced Rollie to 24, 22 and 12 years for the assault and attempted manslaughter of the three others. Madden ordered that the four terms be served consecutively, not concurrently.

Rollie was inside the Market 41 nightclub on Nov. 24, 2005, when he got into a fight. Someone hit him in the head with a bottle just before closing time, so he left, according to court documents.

He waited outside and shot the four people as they exited the club a short while later. One of them died in May, 2006, from those injuries.
