Getting your player ready...

When last we saw Joakim Noah, he was celebrating the second of back-to-back NCAA titles with Florida.

Now he is making noise as an NBA rookie for the Bulls. But it sounds like cymbals to his teammates.

Noah, averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds, was in a confrontation with an assistant coach before the Bulls’ game Friday. His penalty was to sit that game, but his teammates didn’t think that was enough and they asked interim coach Jim Boylan to suspend him for another game — Sunday at Atlanta.

“They just told me what I did was unacceptable, and I’m just going to move on from here,” Noah said.
