Police officers who found a man dead in the yard of an Aurora residence on Sunday night believe he was murdered.
Aurora police responded to a call reporting a suspicious death in the 900 block of South Moline and found the body of a black man in his 20s.
“Major Crime/Homicide detectives are treating the death as a homicide and are still in the early stages of the investigation,” Aurora Detective Shannon Lucy said in a release.
Police identified the victim as John Ify Maduba Jr., 22.
