Denver International Airport plans to open a 1,800-space parking garage on the southwest corner of the terminal Monday, bringing the airport’s total number of garage spaces to about 14,500.

In recent months, DIA’s garages often have been full, especially on busy business-travel days. The new facility is DIA’s seventh garage “module.” Because it is not immediately adjacent to the terminal, a walkway will connect it to the garage module just to the north, from which parking patrons will access the terminal. The full-day parking rate for the new garage is $18, the same as other DIA garages. Jeffrey Leib, The Denver Post
