The family of John Wooden has put one big family foot down. They are just saying, “NO!”

No more autographs from the legendary coach at UCLA home games.

If Yankee Stadium is the house that Ruth built, then surely Pauley Pavilion is the house that Wooden built. And the 97-year-old former coach just wants to come to his house and watch his Bruins play.

Instead, for years whenever the coach takes his seat behind UCLA’s bench, a line forms with autograph seekers .

UCLA announced Wednesday that the family has requested that to stop.

Coach Ben Howland says he suggested awhile back that Wooden be left in peace.

“It’s long overdue,” Howland told The Associated Press. “It’s not an autograph signing session. He’d be there all day just doing that. He never says no to anybody about anything.”

Until now, with the help of family, of course.
