Hoping to cash in on the strong ratings delivered by ABC’s Sunday-night entertainment programming, Denver television station KMGH- Channel 7 will switch its main anchor team from weeknights to a Sunday-Thursday schedule, effective Jan. 28.
Anchors Mike Landess and Anne Trujillo, meteorologist Mike Nelson and sportscaster Lionel Bienvenu will take the Sunday-Thursday shift. Theresa Marchetta moves to solo anchor Friday at 10 p.m. and both Saturday-evening newscasts. Investigative reporter John Ferrugia will co-anchor with Marchetta at 4 and 5 p.m. Fridays.
