CHENEY, Wash.—Adris DeLeon scored 42 points Thursday night and hit 8-of-10 from the foul line in overtime, lifting Eastern Washington to a 91-85 victory over Northern Colorado.

Kellen Williams added 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Eagles (8-12, 3-3 Big Sky). Devon Beitzel led the Bears (8-9, 2-3) with a career-high 18 points.

Thanasi Panagiotakopoulos opened the overtime with a 3-pointer as Northern Colorado grabbed a 74-71 lead. Eastern Washington responded with 12 consecutive points, including a pair of 3-pointers from Milan Stanojevic, to open an 83-74 lead with 1:59 left.

The Bears got as close as 84-79 on a drive by Will Figures with 1:29 left before DeLeon closed it out at the foul line.

The Eagles scored five in a row—a pair of foul shots by Brandon Moore and a 3-pointer by Stanojevic—in the final 48.4 seconds of regulation play to force overtime.

DeLeon’s performance was 18 points better than his previous career high. He hit 14 of 28 from the floor. Moore added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Eagles, who had lost four of five. Stanojevic added 12 points for the winners.

Panagiotakopoulos scored 17 points. Figures and Sean Taibi came off the bench to score 11 apiece for the Bears.
