The House voted 59-3 to extend the Prescription Drug Information and Technical Assistance program Friday. The measure (House Bill 1062) allows pharmacists to consult and advise patients and doctors to improve prescription drug care.
The program will be expanded to include anyone receiving drug benefits from state welfare programs.
