Dish Network Corp., the second- largest U.S. satellite-television provider, won’t have its credit rating cut by Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services after spinning off its equipment business this month. S&P said Friday in a statement that it affirmed its BB- rating, which is three levels below investment grade, on the company’s debt.

Dish Network, the new name for EchoStar Communications Corp. starting this month, had been on watch since Sept. 26.
