GREELEY — Northern Colorado jumped to a 16-point first-half lead and held off a second-half rally in an upset of the Big Sky Conference’s No. 1 team, Portland State, at Butler-Hancock Pavilion.

Danielle Hagen scored a season-high 20 points and grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds to lead the Bears (9-8, 3-1) to their third consecutive conference victory.

Claire Faucher and Kelly Marchant scored 14 points apiece to lead Portland State (14-4, 4-1).
