PORTLAND, Ore.—Scott Morrison scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Portland State to an 85-83 overtime victory over Northern Colorado Saturday afternoon.

Jeremiah Dominguez added 22 points and five assists for the Vikings (11-8, 4-2 Big Sky) and Andre Murray had 20 points. Thanasi Panagiotakopoulos led Northern Colorado (8-10, 2-4) with 22 points and connected on 6-of-10 3-pointers.

Jefferson Mason chipped in 17 points and Devon Beitzel added 12 points for the Bears. Deonte Huff hit one free throw with four seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime.

In the extra period, Morrison took over and scored PSU’s first six points that put the Vikings ahead for good. Dominguez made 7-of-8 free throws down the stretch to seal the win for Portland State.

For the game, Portland State shot 50 percent from the field and dominated down low. The Vikings outscored the Bears 40-20 in the paint and outrebounded UNC 40-28.

The win was the 300th career victory for Portland State head coach Ken Bone.
