Elton Brown’s 23 points and 12 rebounds and Kaniel Dickens’ 22 points helped the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League defeat the Austin Toros 118-104 on Wednesday night in Texas.
Colorado’s biggest lead was 26 points early in the fourth quarter. The 14ers, who shot 51 percent and improved to 14-9, meet the Toros again tonight.

The Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox of the Pacific Coast League will open their 2008 season with eight games on the road before hosting Tacoma on April 11.
The Sky Sox’s home opener against Tacoma at Security Service Field will start an eight-game homestand that extends to April 18, with four games against the Rainiers and four against Portland.
This season, the Sky Sox will have 13 fireworks shows at their ballpark, highlighted by the shows on Memorial Day weekend and July 4.
The team’s final homestand is Aug. 20-28 before the season concludes with four games at Las Vegas.
