Rush inspires a particular zeal in its fans, one not typically found outside tent revivals and pharmaceutical testing facilities. The prog trio’s showy performances approach hilarity at times, but the Canadian act never paid much attention to critics anyway. A successful 2007 tour behind its 18th album, “Snakes and Arrows,” persuaded the band to hit the road again, including a June 5 stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($49.50-$99.50, Ticketmaster)

The Fray announced a trio of shows at the Bluebird Theater Feb. 1-3. The 500-person venue and paltry price ($10 per ticket) ensure the shows will fill up quickly, though restrictions have been placed on sales. See or for details. Tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Kenny Rogers and Diamond Rio were added to the 86th annual Greeley Stampede Concert Series, joining Tim McGraw and Poison at the June 25-July 6 shows. Tickets are on sale now. ($31-$47, TicketsWest)

“Mark Twain Tonight!” allows Oscar nominee Hal Holbrook to reprise his role as one of our country’s most barbed, enduring voices. Tickets for the March 1 Buell Theatre show are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 3. ($25-$50, prices subject to change; )

Travis Morrison Hellfighters takes a step sideways from the ex-Dismemberment Plan leader’s previous work. Morrison will visit the Larimer Lounge on March 12. Tickets are on sale now. ($10, )

Margaret Cho proved she could handle big crowds at last year’s True Colors tour at Red Rocks. The stand-up comedian will bring her one-woman “Beautiful” show to the Paramount Theatre on May 3. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($28.50-$45.50, TicketHorse)

Les Claypool has the rare ability to mock himself and his audience while subtly expanding both. The Primus-bred bassist plays the Ogden Theatre on March 18. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($32.50, Ticketmaster)

Gogol Bordello will revisit Colorado following a late October show, this time playing the Fillmore Auditorium. Tickets for the theatrical gypsy-punk act’s March 7 show are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($22, Ticketmaster)

Newsboys will bring their Christian pop to the Budweiser Events Center on March 2. Tickets are on sale now. ($18-$35, ) Lifehouse plays the Paramount Theatre on March 2 in support of its new single, “Whatever it Takes.” Tickets for the pop-rock band’s set with Matt Nathanson and Honey Honey are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Super Diamond begs many questions. Chief among them: Do we really need another Denver show from this Neil Diamond tribute group? The answer is apparently “yes.” Tickets for the band’s March 29 Ogden Theatre concert are on sale. ($20-$25, Ticketmaster)
