Comcast Corp., the nation’s largest cable operator, said Friday that it is pulling the plug on AZN Television, its Asian-American channel. The Philadelphia-based company said the channel will go off the air after April 9.
About 15 people work at AZN’s offices in the Denver area. Comcast said it’s looking to offer these employees jobs elsewhere within the cable company.
AZN Television went on the air in 2005. Comcast acquired an international channel from Liberty Media Corp. in 2004 and remade it into AZN.
