GRAND JUNCTION — A drunken driver crashed through a fence at a small airport and drove onto a runway before getting stuck atop electrical equipment, authorities said.
No planes were taking off or landing at Grand Junction Regional Airport when the crash occurred early Monday, the Transportation Security Administration said.
Jamie L. Bowden was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and other counts, police said.
