TEMPE, Ariz. — At first it seemed like a bunch of big fellas decided to have a night out on the town. About eight young men arrived Monday night at the Library, a popular watering hole near the Arizona State campus. None looked familiar. Then the veterans showed up — David Diehl, Shaun O’Hara and Grey Ruegamer. And the guy they get paid to protect, Eli Manning. The Giants quarterback took his offensive linemen and tight ends to dinner. Manning said Tuesday that likely would be it for Super Bowl week as far as nightlife goes for him. A few patrons tried to get to Manning and several took pictures of the Giants with their cellphone cameras.
