Two Republican U.S. House members, Kenny Hulshof of Missouri and Ron Lewis of Kentucky, announced plans to leave Congress, adding their names to a list of more than 24 House Republicans who won’t be running for re-election this fall.

Hulshof, 49, who is in his sixth term in the House, is leaving Congress to run for governor of Missouri. Lewis, who is completing his eighth term, said he is resigning to concentrate on his family.
