A woman is in court today on charges she kidnapped and robbed a man over the weekend.
The Denver District Attorney’s Office says Cheryl Yellowhorse, 42, asked a friend for a ride Saturday about 12:30 a.m.
Officials say that she robbed the 26-year-old man and threatened to kill him.
The two were on I-70 heading west. The victim jumped out of the car near the Lookout Mountain exit, when the car was only moving at 15 to 20 miles per hour.
He flagged down a taxi and called police.
Yellowhorse is charged with first-degree kidnapping and aggravated robbery and is Denver County Jail. She will be advised of the charges in court this morning.
